What to Know Before Your Visit

Before your visit

Make sure you plan your trip to us!

We are most easily accessed via Boston’s public transit, but for guests traveling by car, make sure you plan your trip! Boston roads and public transit often experience closures and delays, so ensure you have alternate routes and have padded extra time for traffic in your travel. Plan additional time to find parking! Beacon Hill is notorious for not having many parking options. If you are late for your reservation due to traffic or parking, you will not be given additional time. For more information, check out our transportation page.

Ensure every member of your party has completed their waivers. Waivers must be fully complete prior to your arrival. If your waivers are not completed prior to arrival, your entrance into the cat lounge may be delayed. You will not receive additional time in the space. Refusal to complete waivers will result in denial of entrance into the cat lounge.

Contact us if you have any questions about accessibility! We are happy to let you know how best we can support you during your visit. Please let us know of any accommodations you require.

Your reservation comes with a $10 credit per person to use on drinks or pastries at our cafe! Check out our drink menu online to prepare what you might like to order! *Note, our pastries rotate daily so they are not featured on our online menu.

During your visit

When you arrive, please check in with a member of staff so we can verify your waivers. As we have a strict age minimum of 8 years old, guardians may be asked to provide proof of age for children on their reservation.

Place your order with the cafe! Use your $10 credit before or during your reservation. There are large menus at our entrance and above our cafe bar, as well as in our cat lounge. Place an order with a member of staff and we will bring your drinks/pastries to you.

To enter the cat lounge, you will be required to sanitize your hands with our provided hand sanitizer and put our reusable shoe covers over your shoes (we wash and sanitize our shoe covers after every guest!) Shoes are required in all spaces—you may not take off your shoes in the cat lounge. Please plan appropriate footwear for your visit.

At the end of your visit

We have strict capacity limits in our space, so when your reservation time has ended, you will be asked to leave. No extensions can be made.

Please utilize our hand sanitizer on your way out and place your shoe covers in our basket labeled “Used” so we can wash, sanitize, and reuse them! Feel free to use our lint roller to clear your clothes of our furry friends.

If you went above your $10 credit while in the cat lounge, you will be asked to pay the overage at the cafe on your way out.

We love to see photos of cats (both ours and yours)! Please feel free to tell our bookselling team about your visit and share any photos you took with us!
