Favorite Activity: Playing with the Dragonfly Toy

Fun Fact: Matthias was one of our shyest cats when he first arrived, but now he loves meeting new guests and receiving lots of good head pets while sticking his perfect, pink nose straight up into the air.

Matthias came to A Sanctuary Cafe as part of a family of eight cats. They were all relocated to Boston after being rescued from an overcrowding situation in Florida. Already familiar with being in close quarters with cats, they quickly found their footing amongst our other resident cats and bonded with their new human family as well.

He loves curling up with the other cats and spending a nice warm moment cuddling on a cozy bed. His eyes are so sweet and friendly, we can’t help but think he’s smiling at us whenever we catch him stretched out in a sunbeam, or loafing on our furniture.
